Location: Sourced from the Saumur vineyards, nestled on the south bank of the Loire River, this Crémant reflects the rich winemaking heritage of the Loire Valley. The wines are carefully matured in historic tufa chalk cellars, enhancing their finesse and freshness.
Terroir: The grapes are cultivated on a mosaic of soils—clay-limestone, tufa chalk, and shale—south of the Saumur area. These terroirs contribute to the wine’s minerality, freshness, and elegance.
In the Vineyard: Grapes are harvested by hand to preserve the integrity of each cluster. This careful approach ensures optimal expression of the Chenin Blanc varietal.
Harvest: Grapes are selected and picked at ideal ripeness, ensuring freshness and balance.
Vinification: The first fermentation takes place at cool temperatures (18°C) to retain aromatic purity. A traditional second fermentation in the bottle follows (Méthode Traditionnelle), creating fine bubbles and depth of character.
Ageing: Bottles rest on racks in tufa chalk cellars for a minimum of 18 to 24 months, allowing the development of delicate effervescence and refined aromas.
Serving: Best enjoyed well chilled (8–10°C).
Food Pairings: Ideal as an aperitif to start an evening, this Crémant also pairs beautifully throughout a meal. Its lively, crisp style makes it a versatile partner for fresh seafood, white meats, or light desserts.
