Henri Abelé Brut Millesime 2007 Champagne Limited Edition
Who is Henri Abelé? Only the 3rd oldest Champagne house in Reims! Maison Henri Abelé has long been an official supplier to the royal courts of Europe and to this day, remains the champagne of choice of the leading institutions of the French Republic, including the "Senat" and various Embassies.
The year 2007 is a milestone year in Champagne, characterised by very early harvest, in August for some sectors, revealing after years of maturation of the sparkling fresh with a beautiful aromatic strength.
Made from the Chardonnay Côte des Blancs (60%) and Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims (40%), this Brut Vintage 2007 is the perfect champagne tasting for lovers of complex wines. Subtle and elegant, it reveals the full potential of this excellent vintage.
To the eye: A beautiful straw yellow colour. Remarkably fine bubbles and a persistent foam.
On the nose: The wine opens with notes of peach and apricot joined by more spicy notes of gingerbread, honey and liquorice.
On the Palate: Pinot Noir brings complexity with hints of spice. The discrete dosage of this wine gives it a pleasant sensation of freshness. A subtle and elegant champagne.
The "toile de Jouy" is a French craftsmanship created in 1760, 3 years after the founding of the Maison Henri Abelé. This traditional pattern is here revisited in a contemporary style and daring, like the house that shapes its champagnes with the precision and creativity of an exceptional craftsman.
