Discover the "Smile of Reims". Maison Henri Abelé remains intimately linked with Reims' historical heritage. After the First World War, the house made a substantial contribution to the renovation of Reims bombed cathedral, and in particular to one of its most remarkable sculptures, the "Smiling Angel". In recognition of this generosity, Maison Henri Abelé is the only Champagne house with the right to use the name and image of this statue "Sourire de Reims", thus became the name of one of the houses' prestige cuveé's.
To create the Sourire de Reims Brut, the house selects the finest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir crus from the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, and only in vintages of exceptional quality.

Tasting Notes
Appearance: A golden yellow colour, characteristic of the vintage.
Bouquet: The extremely elegant, fine bouquet is dominated by the Chardonnay with aromas of white flowers, apricot and cinnamon, to which mineral and roasted-coffee notes are gradually added.
Palate: The attack is frank and clean. The Pinot Noir brings complexity, structure, and maturity with spicy notes of cloves and licorice. Thanks to the low dosage, this cuvée conserves its freshness and exceptional lasting impression on the palate
“Sourire de Reims Brut is a brilliantly faceted cuvée, both dazzling and timeless, like a diamond. The vinification process reveals the special nature of each plot, as if they were gemstones. The blending art is like the precision work of a diamond cutter, always aiming for perfection.”- Frank Nicaise
