Varietals: Syrah (60%), Grenache noir (40%)

Tasting Note: The wine presents a ruby color, opening with an inviting nose of fresh red fruits. On the palate, it offers a delicate and aromatic floral attack, complemented by notes of fresh fruit and a subtle hint of spices and liquorice. The finish is marked by a refreshing delicacy. This wine pairs wonderfully with exotic chicken strips or braised beef with vegetables.

Location: With the EnVie collection, Marrenon invites you to the heart of a magnificent, dazzling territory, in the heart of the Luberon Regional Natural Park - UNESCO biosphere reserve... Discovery and astonishment in the face of the richness that this terroir offers, with wines with a unique and generous personality.

Terroir: The producers behind this vintage operate vineyards on a human scale, between 10 and 15 hectares. On the northern side of the Luberon massif, a zone of slow and late maturity, the soils are mainly clay-limestone with fine stoniness. On the southern side, a zone of early maturity, the soils are colluvium of pebbles deposited by the Durance and clay-limestone with high stoniness. Still to the south, but at the eastern end of the massif, an altitude zone climbing to 500 meters, late, cool on marl soils with strong limestone.

In the vineyard: Plots cultivated according to the principles of Organic Agriculture. The method of training the vines is of high quality: pruning in cordon de royat, careful trellising of the vines, cultural method. Harvests after fairly long periods of maturity, on the vine.

Harvest: between the end of September and mid-October.

Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation at low temperature between 20° and 24°C. Gentle extractions, maceration between 7 and 15 days. Free-run juice only.
