1 x 2013 Toppers Mountain Wild Ferment Tempranillo - New England
Juicy, elegant and already quite approachable Tempranillo. Cherry cake, dark cherries, black berries underlined with a hint of mint and dash of cinnamon on the nose. High acidity gives the wine freshness and long finish which is balanced by ripe and smooth tannins. Sour and sweet on the palate with flavours of sour cherries in chocolate, black berries, black cherries and vanilla. Typical Tempranillo – smooth and quaffable yet serious and complex.
1 x 2019 Skimstone Merlot - Mudgee
Our 2019 vintage produced small bunches of intensely flavoured classic Merlot. Deep ruby in colour with a palate of juicy red fruits and aromas of sweet tobacco, this wine is bold yet well rounded and perfect at any time of year. Consider enjoying with a mellow cheddar or even a slice of chocolate cake. Superb.
1 x 2017 Gundog Hilltops Shiraz - Hilltops
It’s always a pleasure working with Shiraz from two of the Hilltop’s most distinguished vineyards (Freeman and Moppity), side by side, in the winery. Winemaking practices are kept as close as practical, with the intention of highlighting the unique personalities of these vineyards– machine harvested fruit is chilled to tank for a short cold soak period, followed by a warm to hot fermentation, which usually runs for 5 to 7 days. We then press to French oak puncheons, 25% new. Maturation is over 14 months, with the wines racked once prior to blending and bottling.
The 2018 Hilltops Shiraz No.2 reflects the lighter, granite peppered soils of the Moppity Vineyard. Ripening here appears to occur a little slower and, at similar baumés, the wines are slightly more floral, and lighter in shape.

Deep dark vermillion in colour, the inviting bouquet of dusty cherry blossom and dark chocolate infused violets leads into a lengthy, succulent palate of black berry fruits caressed in soft vanillin char. The overall texture and balance of the wine supported by graceful and integrated tannins ensures a fine medium term future in your cellar.
1 x 2008 Canobolas Smith Shiraz - Orange
A deep purple, fragrant and perfumed wine with spicy black berry bouquet and a zingy palate with unusual fruit flavours and a firm finish. A great aged wine.
1 x Sassafras Sagrantino - Canberra District
Made with fruit from the Hilltops & Canberra Districts, the 2017 Salita Sagrantino smells of rich fruit and dark cocoa. The flavour is a mix of mulberry, dark cherries and bitter cocoa with a long, fine tannin finish. The characteristics of the fruit and the vineyard make this a great accompaniment for rich Italian dishes or a BBQ.
